It has been the perfect home for our children to grow up in, with several Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary and secondary schools to choose from, plus a large local park within walking distance. Not to forget the local library, just a stone's throw away, which was instrumental in helping our children become budding readers when they were small.The house itself is very spacious, thanks in part to the loft conversion we did, which gave us an additional bedroom and bathroom. One of our favourite parts of our home has to be the large open-plan kitchen and dining area. From cooking weeknight dinners while making sure the children did their homework at the table, to extended family Christmas and New Year's gatherings this space really has been the heart of our home and its size has meant we've never had to worry about space when having guests over. The kitchen leads to a south-facing garden, which is a generous size and has allowed us to host many brilliant summer BBQs over the years.In terms of location, there is a pharmacy and doctor's surgery within walking distance and public transport is fantastic. It takes around 20 minutes to get from Hayes and Harlington Station to London Paddington and 30 minutes to reach Tottenham Court Road brilliant for commuting! There is easy access to the M4, M40 and Uxbridge, with Heathrow Airport only a short drive away. Uxbridge town centre has several great places to eat, a cinema and boasts two shopping malls with a variety of shops to choose from. We've loved being able to jump in the car and take a short drive to Black Park and Langley Country Park for family picnics over the years and other family-friendly outings. They're both also great for dog walkers, as is having a vet within walking distance of our home.This house will truly be missed but as our children have grown up and flown the nest, it is now time for us to downsize and embark on a new chapter and let someone else build lasting memories here.James The Agents Comments...Clearly a well loved family home that has been extended as the current family has grown over the years.
